Cierto. … Este es un Blog de viajes y de fotografía, de experiencias y anécdotas vividas a lo largo de mi vida hasta el presente, y lo que esté por venir…
… pero como ya he mostrado, más o menos la mitad de esa vida a sido con una maravillosa familia que ha ido aumentando con los años. Dejando para otros momentos viajes de juventud y niñez con mis padres y hermanos, he compartido ya más de media vida de viajes con mi esposa y hasta la fecha los cinco hijos que nos ha regalado Dios.
Sin extenderme, he de decir que los momentos que comparta en el Blog no son más que un reflejo diario de sus regalos hacia nosotros, desde la vida hasta los sitios que hemos podido conocer. Incluso Él ha sido el motivo principal de alguno de nuestros viajes.

But as I have already shown, about half of that life has been with a family that has been adding members over the years. Leaving for other moments trips of youth and childhood with my siblings and parents, I have shared more than half like traveling with my wife and to date the five children that God gave us.
Only a few words, but I have to say that the moments I share in the Blog are nothing more than a daily manifestation of His gifts to us, from our life to the places we have been able to visit. He has even been even the reason for some of our trips.
Así empezó este camino. … Carolina y yo nos conocimos en uno de mis viajes a las preciosas tierras de Colombia, y allí Él, o el destino para otros, quiso que nuestros caminos se unieran.
Desde el principio me ayudó. Incluso cargando y haciendo las veces de cameraman con el video mientras yo iba con mi cámara, lentes, trípode, y demás equipo, lo cual imagino que le resultaba un tanto exagerado, pero lo “sufrió” con paciencia.
Enamorada de Dios, apasionada, tranquila, servicial con todos, amante de la naturaleza y de conocer sitios nuevos, nunca dice que no a una marcha por la montaña o un viaje. Excelente fotógrafa, de las que no te avisan.

Los viajes al poco hubo que compartirlos con José David, mi “colega”.
Si de niño le encantaba explorar y los dinosaurios como a muchos niños, luego se ha dirigido hacia la ingeniería y los automóviles.
Inteligente, servicial, arriesgado, aficionado a los videojuegos para romper el ritmo continuo de estudio, pero sin perder su gusto por los deportes y los viajes en familia.
The trips soon had to be shared with José David, my “colleague.”
As a child he loved to explore and dinosaurs like many children, then he has turned to engineering and cars.
Intelligent, helpful, risky, fond of video games to break the continuous pace of study, all without losing his taste for sports and family trips.
Luego llegó Alba María, la primera princesa en miniatura, reservada, amante de los libros, las plumas estilográficas y los LP´s como su padre…un poco vintage si se puede decir.
Fan de Star Wars, aunque ese es un “defecto” familiar. Ella prefiere viajes con más estilo, y menos trekking, … cada uno es diferente.
Then came Alba Maria, the first little princess, introverted, books lover, fountain pens and LPs like her father … a little vintage if I can say that.
Star Wars fan, although that is a family “fault”. She prefers trips with more style, and less trekking, … each one of us is different.
Marián la más extrovertida, buena amiga de sus amigas, siempre dando abrazos, amante del arte, la pintura, el baile, detallista con todos, y una segunda mamá para el más pequeño.
Junto con sus hermanos comparte el gusto por la música, por ahora con el piano.
Marián the most outgoing, good friend of her friends, always giving hugs, art lover, painting, dancing, thoughtful with everyone, and a second mom for the youngest.
Together with her brothers, she shares a taste for music, right now with the piano.
Alejandro, rápido para hacer amistades, es su compañero de juegos, bromista y de fácil sonrisa, amante de la naturaleza, siempre subiéndose a alguna peña o eligiendo el camino más difícil con su hermana.
Compañero de fotografía en momentos con una réflex que quiso de regalo, quizás demasiado pesada para él.
Alejandro, quick to make friends, is her playmate, joker and with easy smile, nature lover, always climbing a rock or choosing the most difficult path with his sister.
Photo companion at times, with a reflex that he wanted as a gift, perhaps too heavy for him.
El último en llegar, a tiempo antes de irnos a USA, fue Juan María, con ojos grandes y azules, ahora menos rubio, tímido, … aunque sólo con los de fuera.
Lo que ha vivido hasta ahora le quedará sólo el recuerdo en las fotos, …pero seguro que lo que la vida le depara por delante es aún más excitante.
The last one to arrive, in time before we left for the USA, was Juan María, with big blue eyes, now less blond, shy, … only with those outside.
What he has lived so far, he will keep only the memory from the photos, … but surely what life lies ahead is even more exciting.
This belief is something I wish to each of them. And now I will leave “room” for new photos and if the protagonists want, their own contributions… It is a family adventure in this, as the song says,
“A Wonderful World”.
Algo que le deseo a cada uno de ellos. Y ahora dejaré “espacio” a nuevas fotos y si les apetece a los protagonistas, a sus propias contribuciones… Es una aventura familiar en este, como dice la canción,
“A Wonderful World”.
