USA 2017 Grand Teton National Park
Este parque sería digno de mucho más tiempo, pero sólo le pudimos dedicar un día para disfrutar algo de su belleza, cumbres y lagos.
This park is worth much more time, but we were able to dedicate only a day to enjoy some of its beauty, summits and lakes.
Limita por el norte con Yellowstone en el estado de Wyoming, y está enmarcado entre el Teton Range, y el Snake River, con decenas de lagos alpinos. Nosotros partíamos cada mañana para visitar ambos parques de Rexburg, en Idaho.
It borders on the north with Yellowstone in the state of Wyoming, and is between the Teton Range, and the Snake River, with dozens of alpine lakes. We left every morning to visit both parks from Rexburg, Idaho.
Después de dos días intensos en Yellowstone, nos lo tomamos con más calma. Nos limitamos a un paseo en coche por la Teton Park Road, parando en puntos estratégicos y además de una parada para almorzar y refrescarse en las aguas de un lago al norte de Jenny Lake, rodeados de las cumbres del parque.
After two intense days in Yellowstone, we took it more calmly. Only a car ride through the Teton Park Road, stopping at strategic points and in addition one more for lunch and refresh in the waters of a small lake to the north of Jenny Lake, surrounded by the summits of the park.
Allí tuvimos la suerte de conocer a un matrimonio, Curt y Melodee, con los que compartimos un agradable rato de charla, sobre experiencias de viajes y personales, ella hablaba español, y ayudaba a gente con su dominio de ambas lenguas y él entre otras aficiones, como la montaña, es un amante de las Harley Davidson. Gracias a las nuevas tecnologías, podemos mantener el contacto.
There we were lucky to meet a couple, Curt and Melodee, with whom we shared a pleasant chat time, about travel and personal experiences, she spoke Spanish, and helped people with their being able to speak both languages and he, among other hobbies, as the mountain, is a Harley Davidson´s lover. Thanks to new technologies, we can be in contact.
Los niños disfrutaron remando un rato en las canoas hinchables que nos prestaron nuestros amigos. El agua fresca, el entorno grandioso, y un día fabuloso fueron un buen broche a estos tres días en Wyoming.

The children enjoyed paddling for a while in the inflatable canoes that our friends lent us. The fresh water, the great surroundings, and a fabulous day were a good touch to these three days in Wyoming.

Ahh, recuerdo ese día! ¡Ese fue un día perfecto en Jackson! Hay pocos lugares en los que he estado en comparación con la belleza del lago y las montañas. Vivimos a solo 90 minutos en automóvil, por lo que generalmente hacemos una visita anual. Fue divertido conocerte a ti y a tu familia, ¡gracias por dejarme practicar mi español! – A pesar de que todos hablan inglés perfecto. Nos encantó escuchar sus aventuras, esperamos algún día visitar España, y como hablamos recientemente, ¡tal vez incluso el Camino de Santiago! ¡Buena suerte y que Dios los bendiga a todos!
Ahh, I remember that day! That was a perfect day in Jackson! There are few places I have been that compared with the beauty of the lake and mountains in the background. We live just a 90 minute drive away so we usually make a yearly visit. It was fun to meet you and your family- thanks for letting me practice my Spanish! – even though you all speak perfect English. We loved hearing about your adventures- we hope someday to visit Spain, and as we talked recently, maybe even the El Camino de Santiago! Good luck and God bless you all!
